The following is a comprehensive list of the Huffington Post bloggers and featured posts section at the time I started putting together this diary, with columns written by men and women boxed in different colors. Just try to focus on the topic listed above the title for each one.

Notice something? The topics of "world", "business", "media" and "politics" tend to be written by male writers, whereas the topics "style", "living", "entertainment", "food" and "comedy" were the five topics written about by women.
Of the seven business articles, all were written by men.
Of the six politics articles, all were written by men.
Of the three world and media articles, all were written by men.
There is one male author each for comedy and entertainment.
Other than that, the gender lines of topical segregation are never crossed. Of course that excludes Arianna Huffington herself, but she is the site proprietor and always has a column.
Not for a moment do I think this is the result of deliberate discrimination at a website that surely regards itself as Progressive, 21st century and post feminist, not to mention obviously owned by a woman.
But that would actually be comforting, because the alternative view is to believe that women just aren't interested in bothering [at least writing] their pretty little heads with serious topics, such as "business", "media", "world", and "politics". And we know that's not true because just look at Daily Kos.
No, don't worry about mens' business dear, could you please go back to the kitchen "style", "living", and "food", where you belong?
Is this not evidence that there are still some areas where we are stuck in the 1950s in gender relations?
